A number of mutually intelligible Levantine Arabic dialects are spoken in Syria. This course provides an introduction to the dialect spoken in Damascus. Arabic words are taught in both Roman and Arabic script. (COURSE IN PROGRESS: Arabic script is only complete for the first 13 lessons.
